HEALTH

REGRETTABLY at this moment in time, we DO NOT cater for the DIABETIC Cats.

All cats will be examined on Arrival, but the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health, pending any advice from a Veterinary Surgeon. If while the cat is in our care, and shows signs of ill health it will be treated by your own named Vet, alternatively, by our own 24 hour local Vet. Please be assured every care will be taken with your cat. Any costs incurred must be met by the owner of the cat/s.

VACCINATIONS Owners must produce an up to date vaccination certificate on ARRIVAL and this will be retained by us for the duration of your cats stay. All cats must be vaccinated 14 days before arrival. against F.I.E. (Feline Infectious Enteritis) and URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infections-Cat Flu). Leukaemia vaccination Fel.V is not compulsory.

FLEA/WORMS They MUST have been treated at least 7 days before arrival to the Cattery. We strongly advise customers use the Frontline flea treatment and the Drontal wormer. These can be bought from your vet, and are the ones we use in our Cattery. Any cats arriving with fleas will be treated and the customer will be charged.

Any prescribed tablets or ointments can be continued. All medications should be clearly labelled in a suitable container with cats name, owners name and required dosage and to supply sufficient quantity for your cats stay, which may include flight or road delays. Its better to have more than not enough.

INSURANCE – Up to £350 per cat will be provided for conditions developing whilst boarding with us. Any excess incurred, pre-existing conditions, flea/worm treatments etc, will NOT be covered.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR VACCINATION CERTIFICATES WITH YOU
